Happy Canada Day everyone! Took our "soon-to-be new Canadian" to Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day. What a blast .... although it was definitely a little different than the Canada Days we had spent in the capital in the past. We could actually remember ALL the details, and very clearly, this time around! :)
The weather was great, the crowds were fun, and we had a nice hotel room over looking the Parliament Buildings--- where we were able to watch the fireworks from the balcony. Sean (and his parents, of course!) drove down for the day and joined us there .... with any luck, Sean and Aveleen will be full fledged Canadians for their second Canada Day!
And yes, yes ... we celebrated St Jean Baptiste, too.... If you know of any other fun filled holidays we could celebrate this summer....let us know!
