Spent Mother's Day weekend at Mont Tremblant. We were at Tremblant for Easter weekend last year, along with some friends, and couldn't help comparing the changes between the two trips!
Last April the little dictatrice wasn't walking nor talking. Although in "the good old days" we had liked to hike, last year we mostly walked around the village, shopped, ate and rested. Our friends' son and the L-D are the same age and all four parents were pooped!
This year we were able to go on a couple of farily longish walks. Longish mostly becuause the L-D insists on walking, even if the trail is all up hill. We stopped to look at every ant, butterfly and stone and got distracted by a couple of mini waterfalls for what seemed like hours ... :) Oh well ... at least SHE got her exercise!? This time around involved lots of loud and never ending discussions about "MY chapeau" and "MY roches" and "MY wheee (park)" etc..etc..etc... What a fun age 2 is!! Things were further slowed down by having to stop and try out every jungle gym, and having to dance in front of every store/restaurant that was playing music!
It was great to get away though....And with our late winter, followed by our late spring it was pretty amazing to see so much snow still on the ski hills in May!
Thankfully, it was a nice weekend. Sunny and getting warmer finally... summer here we come!

Glad to hear you are having fun with your two-year old. Our two-year is still fun, but she's also very, very bad. She dumps water on the floor/rug every day and smacks her older sibblings.

Tremblant weekend looked great. Why is Daddy grimacing? You are absolutely "bang on" to dance everytime you hear music, A. That is why you are called LD (little dancer). Keep this up for the rest of your life and you'll have a happy one. Much love from another secret dancer (Nai Nai).
