Spent Canada Day weekend in Ottawa again this year. C-A, B. and the little dictatrice's buddy, S. joined us for the day and watched the fireworks with us from our hotel room. 
It was a great weekend, but as opposed to last year where we thought we might melt into a puddle and then evaporate ... this year had us wishing we had brought our winter coats!! What is with the weather this "summer"!?!?
Anyhow, hope all you other Canadians enjoyed the celebrations earlier this month. Thought we had better sneak in this post before it was August, as that would have just seemed wrong!

We're having a cool summer too. I think we had as many 70's days as 80's days. It's more like spring. What is with the weather?
